European Museum Academy Award deadlines approaching!

Two deadlines for awards promoted by the European Museum Academy are fast approaching! It is only 4 weeks until the deadline for the Children in Museums Award, and 8 weeks until the deadline for the European Museum Academy Awards.

Of most interest to ABTEM members might well be the Luigi Micheletti Award, (deadline 15 March) a prize focused on contemporary history and scientific, industrial and social heritage. Originally the award was established by the Micheletti Foundation and Kenneth Hudson in 1996, for the recognition of excellence in the specific sector of European science and industry museums.

Applications are welcomed from scientific, technical and industrial museums and science centres, both long-established and recently opened.
