NEW ABTEM SEMINAR ANNOUNCED

We are please to announce details of our latest seminar titled ‘Managing Archive Collections in Industrial & Transport Museums: What do you need to know and what do you need to do?’ to be held on Friday 18th March 2016.

The day will provide an introduction to archives and is mainly aimed at museums that may have archive material as part of their collections but no professional archivist.

The day has been organised following requests and feedback from members and attendees at previous seminars.

Speakers include Emma Chaplin, co-author of the AIM Success Guide ‘Successfully Managing Archives in Museums’ published in 2015 and Naomi Korn of Naomi Korn Copyright Consultancy. There will also be the opportunity to hear  case studies from museums dealing with archive collections.

The event is being held by courtesy of the Royal Automobile Club at its prestigious Pall Mall headquarters – places on the seminar are strictly limited so early booking is recommended!
